One of my favorite styles of sunglasses is the aviators.  I have seen these around for many years but they seem to never go away. I ran across an old pair I had thrown in my glove box all scratched up wondering where I would get another pair. I bought this pair at target for around ten dollars.  I decided to look online and found some wholesale companies offering them for very low prices. I did not know I could buy twelve pair for around twenty dollars. I am going to give this a try this time around.

I found an article online about aviator sunglasses explaining all about them. I did not know General Douglas MacAuthur was the man that started the aviator fad. It is very interesting how going to war was one of the things making these sunglasses popular.

I know some of the popular movie stars like Tom Cruise and others have been spotted wearing this style of sunglasses. One movie that brings back memories of these is Top Gun. This was a very cool movie it seems just about everyone was wearing these cool shades. Paul McCartney was another one who use to wear these sunglasses often. Really the style is very cool looking and many sunglass manufacturers make them. Ray-Ban is one company who is owned by Bausch & lomb that makes many different styles of aviator sunglasses. This style has become more popular with men than women but really both can wear them.
